Rooney rule

The process the NFL uses to hire new coaches is ridiculous and insulting.The Rooney rule requires that an NFL owner interview at least one minority when looking to hire a new coach.The problem with this is that an NFL has only 32 positions availiable.It is a unique position to fill and often owners know who they want and have decided long before allowing anyone to interview in fact you dont get to just drop off an application you are invited to an interview.To require an owner to interview someone after they have already picked someone to fill the job is a stupid waste of everyones time.I know i would be insulted by this.The NFL will say its a good pollicy because it helps minorities learn the process.What, there isnt some other way to show them how to do this instead of some convoluted interview that everyone knows is a farce just to meet some political correctness agenda to cover their(NFL) asses.Just because there is a disproportionate number of minority head coaches in the NFL .I dont believe that this Rooney rule will make any differnce.You cant mandate the mindset of uber rich owners of NFL teams. They are going to pick whomever they want for whatever reasons they want. You just cant change that with any rule.
